INSPIRATION
Calla lily, or as we call them in Mexico Alcatraces, are the image that dominated the universe of objects for tourists in the streets of Mexico & is the flower I chose to be the source of inspiration for my first collection, originally from southern Africa. We know that they were exported to Europe in the 18th century, possibly during the French invasion and the reign of Maximilian and Charlotte.
